About Me
I am an Analytics Engineer with 2 years of experience in data analytics managing the full data lifecycle, from ELT to Serving Dashboards. Coming from a background in Physics, I love to turn complex datasets into meaningful insights, whether that be through data models, notebook analyses, reports, or dashboards.
I am proficient in Python, SQL, Git, and various BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker. I thus have experience in designing and developing analyses, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide stakeholders with insights and drive data-informed decision-making.I am currently working towards solidifying my Analytics Engineering capabilities, by taking over ELT initiatives in my current role, from building out Data Models using dbt to creating and orchestrating pipelines using Delta Live Tables and Workflows on Databricks to ingest and transform data for our end users.Personally, I love playing golf, video games (PlayStation >>), chess, walking in nature, and watching movies from the golden era (2000s)!
PROJECTS
Analysing my Chess Games
I extract data from my chess games using APIs in Python and land it in Google BigQuery. I then use dbt to model it into a Star Schema and create a view which is fed into a Google Looker Dashboard, giving me insights. Orchestration is done using Dagster.

Self-made Spotify Wrapped
I request my personal data from Spotify. I use the Spotify API to request song features to enrich my listening history dataset. I clean these datasets using Python. Finally, I create a dashboard on Tableau showing insights about my music listening.
